jQuery Expert & User Interface Developer

CONTENS looks for a jQuery expert and user interface developer in Munich, Germany. The position involves all aspects of user interface design for web-based applications and can be full-time, part-time or freelance.
Tasks:
- Developing new User Interface concepts and prototypes for web-based applications
- Design & Code re-usable components/widgets based on WEB2.0 guidelines for enhanced user interaction
- Creating a standard look & feel across applications using a single CSS layout.
- Testing user interface functionality to ensure coverage across a range of browsers set forth as certification requirements
- Working with our Services and Support Teams as required to troubleshoot and resolve UI-specific problems
- Creating excellent documentation for use as coding standards, design guidelines, etc
Experience required:
- Strong knowledge of user-interface and web design standards and their application
- Strong visual design sense, augmented by experience in applying User Centered Design methods in software development efforts
- Experience on at least one of the Javascript libraries such as JQuery, MooTools, Ext JS (JQuery preferred);
- Hands on experience with CSS & one of the layout techniques such as Tiles, SiteMesh etc.
- Experience on building & integrating a Services model with UI components, using WebServices (REST/SOAP)
- Experience on Unit testing frameworks such as Selenium
- Experience on ColdFusion or Java
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Superior written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member
