User Interface Designer

Bluefly, Inc., a leading online outlet for designer fashion and home furnishings, has a position available for a User Interface Designer within the eCommerce Team. This is a terrific opportunity to work in an exciting Internet environment with the resources of a Nasdaq SmallCap company (ticker symbol: BFLY).
Key Responsibilities:
• Primary responsibilities include working on projects to enhance site efficiency, translating business requirements into an intuitive user experience and increasing site conversion
• Identify customer site behavior from qualitative and quantitative customer data
• Develop workflows, user task analysis, personas, interaction flows and wireframes, navigational flows, and high fidelity prototypes
• Develop working HTML, CSS & JavaScript prototypes
• Design template graphics, buttons and icons
• Create A/B and multivariate tests to measure and validate design decisions
Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree
• 3-5 years web design & development experience
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript and AJAX a must
• Proficiency in Photoshop
• Experience developing low-fidelity prototypes
• Expertise in web standards, user-centered design principles, knowledge of the software development process
• Working knowledge of interaction design deliverables and activities
• Digital agency experience a plus
