part time Seeking Front-end HTML/CSS/Design Guru for Contract Role

at Stealth-mode, Funded, Stanford Health and Bioinformatics Start-up in Silicon Valley, CA

Looking for a rockstar designer to help on a contract basis to build out a beautiful and functional site.

  • A master of all things [X]HTML, CSS
  • Well versed in at least one Javascript framework (e.g., Spry, jQuery, YUI, Prototype)
  • More tasteful than Steve Jobs =)
  • Strongly opinionated about what constitutes clean and beautiful design
  • Able to communicate well with groups and integrate the ideas and vision of your peers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities include:

  • Create and launch a web application from the ground-up
  • Work directly with engineering and world-class usability experts
  • Own all HTML and CSS for the site
