Job Description:

The Generations Network is looking for a highly skilled FRONT END WEB DEVELOPER with proven experience in creating high-quality XHTML/CSS/JavaScript solutions.

Key Responsibilities / Performance Requirements:

• Generate pixel-perfect web pages from high fidelity mock ups created in Photoshop and Fireworks.
• Establish and maintain a front-end architecture to simplify web development across a number of teams.
• Implement a collection of commonly used UI widgets to promote consistency and code re-use.
• Work in a collaborative environment with product managers, software engineers, and user experience designers.
• Be detail-oriented in all facets of work, from code to communications.

• Be proactive and self-sufficient, taking ownership of work assigned.

Required Skills:

• Ability to hand-code semantic, efficient, standards-compliant XHTML and CSS.
• Ability to hand-code DOM-based, object-oriented, unobtrusive JavaScript.
• Ability to effectively use JavaScript frameworks like YUI and jQuery.

• Appreciation for design, usability, and accessibility concerns.
