Job Requirements:
We are looking for a Front End Developer who is an expert with Object Oriented JavaScript/HTML and CSS. This engineer will be the go-to resource for questions regarding JavaScript and CSS issues. Solid understanding of Web 2.0 technologies including dynamically generated DOM elements, JavaScript frameworks, front end development and debugging tools. The developer will have 4-6 years of front-end web development experience using modern front end concepts (separation of roles, semantic html, unobtrusive javascript, progressive enhancement, etc.)

• Extensive experience with browser technologies and internals
• Must have experience working with prototypal inheritance in JavaScript, along with closures, DOM, namespacing and functional programming
• Experience working with real world web 2.0 technologies – Ajax, JSON.
• Comfortable developing and debugging on Mac, Linux platforms and familiarity with Firebug and YSlow extensions
• Comfortable with caching technologies and session management (cookies, server based sessions, etc.)
• Strong understanding of web analytics and tracking

• Sense of humor

Desired skills:

• Experience with Flash and ActionScript, and other multimedia formats.
• Participation and experience with a Software Engineering Process Methodology (e.g., Agile)
• e-commerce and enterprise-level web application development

• Experience with source code version control tools
