Come help build a groundbreaking consumer web service, using the latest techniques for rich javascript application development, and working with some of the best people in the industry.

We’re an exciting and ambitious consumer product idea. We’re just getting started — join now and become a big part of our 1.0 product release.

Your work will be highly visible, both in the product and because we’ll encourage some of your work to be open source.

Requirements:

• Smarts – Be one of the best programmers you know.
• Javascript – Have significant practice with javascript browser programming.
• Experience – Show that you’ve written clean, professional, documented, tested, maintainable software in at least two programming languages.
• Desire – Show desire to make something great, and important.
• UI taste – Have a sense for simple consumer user interfaces.
• Creativity – Our application calls for cutting edge thinking.
• Enthusiasm – Want a startup experience.

• Quality – Demonstrate the orientation/commitment to build it well for our users.

Bonus: (these experiences would help attact our interest)

• Experience with functional languages: scala, haskell, ocaml. Our server is written scala.
• Java VM familiarity so you can dabble (at least) on the server side
• Created a public developer API. Some of your work will be used by developers
• Practice with multiple user interface toolkits. You’ll be evolving a framework here.

• jQuery and jQuery UI or similar frameworks. You’ll use and possibly contribute code to these projects.

Contract or full time. Work with us from anywhere, or locally (our office is in Pioneer Square).
