Cloud Services Management Console Team (up to 6 needed!)
Novell is looking for an engineer with a strong background in web application development. Our cloud team is producing cutting-edge technology, aimed at revolutionizing how business interact with cloud service and platform offerings.
Allowing the enterprise to extend business practices and processing into the cloud while preserving identity, security, governance and compliance is necessary in today's market place. The ideal candidate for this position is experienced in all levels of project creation and works well as a team player with a passion for creating highly secure, responsive, scalable application components which fit well into a SaaS/PaaS environment
Responsibilities :
Design highly interactive, browser-based, graphical user interface Create design documents and detailed functional specifications Work closely with Project Lead to provide future direction and roadmap for new services and features Up to 40% travel required
Qualifications :
Bachelors or higher degree in CS or related discipline 2- 5 years experience with web application development Experience with XML, HTML, JSPs, JavaScript, CSS, and Java is required Experience with JMS is desired Experience with Ajax is desired Experience with GWT is desired Experience with Linux OS is desired Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written Must have strong problem solving skills Experience with hosted environments Experience working with a global team
