Junior JavaScript Programmer, NYC | to 65k
at OSS in New York City, NY
This is a full time, on-site, salaried position located in New York City (NoHo) paying $50,000 to $65,000. No telecommuting allowed. US Citizens or Green Card holders only please. Local candidates only. Thank you.
This is a new client at a startup software company. The products they build are used by architects and structural engineers that design "green" buildings.
They have a small team of senior software engineers and have created a new position for a Junior Front-End Programmer with strong JavaScript. Environment is Open Source with Java on the Back-End.
The opportunity offers lots of visibility to make decisions and affect change along with learning under some pretty heavy hitting, senior programmers. They also do 2 week "sprints" on releases so it's fast paced.
This is a real programming position (not a designer) and will be expected to do a lot of raw coding in JavaScript. Great job for a computer science driven, junior programmer that loves the web and is interested in "green" industries.
Process following submission will be an online test, potentially a phone interview and 1-2 face to face meetings onsite.
