full time AJAX/JavaScript

I am seeking an experienced, well-rounded software developer who can contribute to the development of our web 2.0 applications. The developer is expected to have deep knowledge of JavaScript as an object oriented programming language, Ajax frameworks, and an expert understanding of the client-server relationships that Web 2.0 technologies introduce.

  • Expert-level JavaScript. 5-7 years of JavaScript development.
  • 2+ years of Ajax development experience. In-depth knowledge of available JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
  • An in-depth understanding of cross-browser, and front-end development issues.
  • Working knowledge of XML and XSLT. Experience implementing elegant XSL template structures to render complex designs is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL queries.
  • Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (C# preferred).
  • An understanding of the fundamentals of software development, including OOD patterns and best practices.
  • Ability to manage one’s time effectively to meet multiple, tight deadlines.
  • CS degree or equivalent.

Skills that would be nice to have but not required:

  • Experience with: Ext JS, Prototype, Script.acul.us
