They seek a Senior Web Developer / Software Engineer to join their fantastic team. The ideal candidate will be a local thought leader or expert in HTML, XML, CSS, and direct experience working with JavaScript libraries like JQuery.
Qualifications
4+ years developing web-based applications
Advanced knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, and direct experience working with JavaScript libraries like JQuery
Familiarity with the principles of UI Design
Experience working in cross platform environments and, in particular, familiarity with both Windows and Linux
Familiarity and a willingness to do unit, integration, and functional tests — JUnit and Selenium preferred
Ability to articulate engineering design strategies related to scalability, performance, security, usability, and development platforms
Ability and interest to closely collaborate with a wide range of people to understand business needs and requirements
Strong sense of self-motivation and proactively contributing to ensure the team’s success
B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent discipline
Desired:
In-depth knowledge of Java, Servlets, and J2EE and web-based applications
Working knowledge of one or more current Java application frameworks (Spring, Guice, Grails, etc. — Spring preferred)
Familiarity with the following:
Social Media APIs (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Flash/Flex
Restful Web Services
SEO
Content management systems
Omniture Site Catalyst or Google Analytics
Multivariate test systems (A/B web page test systems)
