Job Description
This is a great opportunity in a visionary, ambitious and funded startup company, and the compensation package will be structured accordingly, including aggressive bonus and options. Along with the Chief Architect, the Senior JS Developer will play a key role in identifying and executing the strategic vision but also the development requirements and coding practices in a young company which is largely to be driven by its innovative Internet technology; therefore skill level and experience must be significant to support the assigned responsibility.

Senior Javascript Developer
We require an expert-level developer of Object Oriented Javascript. It is necessary that the candidate have experience using and extending advanced Javascript libraries. The role will require updating existing code (an alpha product) to use best modern programming practices. Creativity and inventiveness is as critical as knowledge of the language.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Expert programming experience using modern, advanced JavaScript coding practices.
• Experience developing software with JavaScript frameworks such as ExtJS, Prototype, Scriptaculous, Moo Tools, jQuery, etc.
• Experience with AJAX, XMLHttpRequest, XML, JSON.
• Understanding of browser DOM, CSS, Firefox extension development, XUL.
• Willingness to work with code written in a style with which you may disagree, and with a strong desire to make it better.
• Experience with LAMP is a plus.
• Self-motivated, critical thinker with strong technical background.
• Curiosity, imagination, intuition. Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

• Bonus: User experience design, web design, graphic design.
