The Interactive Department of The Morning Call is currently seeking at least one highly creative and passionate full?time Web Application Developer responsible for the daily maintenance and programming of themorningcall.com and all other interactive websites.
We are looking for the right individuals that want to help lead the ever?expanding Interactive Department into the future. To be considered for this position, the following is required:
1. At least 2 years developing interactive, database?driven web sites.
2. Proficiency in the following:
a. PHP 5.x
b. MySQL
c. JavaScript
d. DHTML
e. jQuery
f. AJAX
g. CSS
h. HTML / XHTML
i. XML
j. ActionScript
3. Fluency in the all Adobe Creative Suite applications.
4. Comfortable working in a fast?paced, collaborative team environment.
5. Knowledge of usability and information architecture principles.
6. Desire to keep learning and have fun.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Highly adaptable to change and open to constructive criticism.
