Front End Web Developer - Technical Services
Location: Austin, TX

The Technical Services team is responsible for the Implementation and technical support and maintenance of all Bazaarvoice web applications. We take pride in our energetic team environment and strong culture. We multitask well, communicate directly, and lead by example. Our company moves quickly and so do we. You won’t find any of the typical technical riddles during our interviews, but come prepared to whiteboard HTML and CSS with us.
The Front End Web Developer position is responsible for the technical management of implementation projects, coordinating client technical teams through a quick deployment process. Our solutions are easy for our clients’ development teams to integrate and therefore projects are smaller in scope and move quickly. The IE works closely with our customers, project managers and engineering leads to draft requirements and implement multiple concurrent projects. Creative problem-solving and an eye for improvement is critical for success in this role. We work with some of the largest brands in the world, and think outside the box to find the best ways to meet their needs.
A strong Front End Web Developer at Bazaarvoice has rock-solid front-end web development skills. A strong knowledge of HTML and CSS is a must. We have a number of processes built around source control and issue tracking systems, and the ability to follow directions with attention to detail is key. The IE has good technical sense in web application debugging and the ability to communicate effectively with both a business and technical audience.
Job Requirements
The ideal Front End Web Developer has experience managing or playing a lead client-facing role in multiple technology integration engagements and meets most or all of the following requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and certifications.
Passion for front-end development. It started as a hobby for many of our best Front End Developer Implementation Engineers.
