Internship - Front End Developer
at Thomson Reuters in London, UK
....you will be required to create first class, innovative web interfaces following web standards and best practices for a wide range of websites, web applications and emails, within a cutting-edge global information company....
You must be competent in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery (or similar library) and must love building interfaces which users love too....
You are not required to design but certainly good visual literacy is an advantage...
An awareness of backend developement is also a big advantage (.NET, PHP. MSSQL, MySql etc) but certainly NOT a primary requirement
This is an internship for 12 months starting asap, we are not looking for the finsihed article as we will be helping to develop your skills but we do require a good competency in the front-end skills mentioned as you will be undertaking solo projects from the get-go...
And finally...you have to love the web!
We need a web enthusiast, a particpator, to join a team that is very much looking forward and trying to build web experiences that fit with an increasingly online audience....
These are exciting times and we want you to be excited and ready for the challenges ahead...
