Responsibilities:
Summary: the UI Developer has deep skills in Web Design and implementation with a passion for building great web-based user interfaces.
Responsibilities, listed in order of importance:
1. Create, develop, and maintain a Flash component library for use in client sites
2. Create a repertoire of client-side interfaces
3. Work with clients on high-level conceptualization of custom interface designs
4. Assist in the production of large project
Additional Responsibilities:
* Conceive of and deliver clean, simple, well modularized UI and action code. * Elegantly implement page designs in standards-compliant dynamic HTML and CSS. * Implement functionality in JavaScript, Java and using Ajax frameworks like JSON or Ext. * Collaborate with the design team to define the information architecture, advocating Web interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability. * Create rapid prototypes of interfaces to be used as a blueprint for content and technical development. * Work closely with back-end developers to find ways to push the limits of existing Web technology in service of creating the best possible user experience. * Responsible for contributing to UI best practice and framework improvements * Work closely with other UI developers providing feedback and guidance * Expected to stay up to date on industry frameworks, best practices, etc to keep applications on the cutting edge * Other duties as assigned.Viewed: 250 times
