Responsibilities:
Vivox is changing the world with its VoIP applications. We're looking for development innovators to join our system testing group.
We’re middleware working in an agile framework so we test by building our own applications with an occasional afternoon playing an online game with the rest of the company. We’re looking for top-notch programmers to add to our QA team, starting off with people with the talent and creativity to knock the heck out of our software before we release to the wild.
Our platforms: all things Windows, Mac, Linux, PS3 and iPhone
Our interfaces: javascript (all things IE, FireFox, Safari, Chrome), perl, C, C++
Required skills:
Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining automation systems: design, results reporting, and system analysis
• Solid discipline and understanding of test-as-you-go agile principles
• Deep understanding of breaking down features/ideas into tasks and success criteria
• Excellent writing/communication in a technical environment
• Demonstrated fluency in at least one of the target languages: javascript, OOPerl, C/C++
Preferred Skills:
• Javascript, Selenium programming
• Experience building test automation systems
• Testing frameworks: cxxtest, Junit, Perl Test:: modules Test::WWW::Selenium
• Platform scripting (vbscript, Unix shell scripting)
• SQL (postgres and mysql, preferred)
• Network layer of computing and process management
• Running remote clients
