We are an extraordinary Web startup company with A BIG IDEA. With funding from the National Science Foundation, we’re building a large cloud-based toolkit for creative professionals in the online marketplace.

You bring: Rock-solid programming skills in the following:
PHP using OOP, including MVC frameworks,
MySQL,
JavaScript, especially jQuery,
Standards based HTML,
CSS
REST with JSON, XML.
Experience or good familiarity with:
Linux, Mac environment
Apache, nginx configuration and management
Social networking development

A college degree with 2+ years professional development experience using LAMP, JavaScript.
Understanding of SaaS trends and the desire to share and expand upon your skills and knowledge.
Pride in your strong work ethic and your ability to work independently.
An eager, enthusiastic attitude and the ability to deliver high quality results on time.

You will be a full-time, integral member of our development staff. You will work closely with the lead developer to integrate Web APIs and Open Source components to construct our Web platform. You’ll have direct contact with our users and testers to observe how your work is used by the customer. You’ll believe passionately in your personal potential and the high quality of your product.

We have your immediate full-time position as Web software developer with our small, dedicated team. We offer flexible work hours, a competitive salary plus equity in the company on a vesting schedule. We have a nice, professional office with free, safe parking, a good chair and fresh coffee. We are conveniently located in central Connecticut within 100 miles of both Boston and New York City.
