Core Qualifications
Experienced developer in custom web application design and development utilizing C# and the .NET Framework.
Experience with web 2.0, Ajax application development.
Strong Web development skills, including JavaScript, DHTML (HTML, CSS and JavaScript)
Strong experience with Ajax techniques and technologies.
Experience in building scalable, maintainable, and extensible solutions while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
? Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong SQL Server 2000/2005 database skills, including working knowledge of relational database best practices as well as ability to write stored procedures.
Excellent problem solving skills to troubleshoot issues with cross-browser compatibility issues.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience implementing Content Management systems a plus.
Job Responsibilities
To develop both front-end and back-end functionality to add new features, functionalilty and product lines to calendar based move planner.
To write technical specification from set of visual/ creative screens. Critical analysis of specifications to maximise the potential effectiveness and to make consistent with the architecture of the site.
To work on bespoke third-party white-labelling adaptations of the move planner.
To work closely with other developers to ensure best team output.
Required Skills
Languages/Technologies (in order of importance): ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, HTML, T-SQL
Database: SQL Server 2005
Development Tools: C# .NET, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Visual SourceSafe, Subversion
Desired Experience and Education
Three (3) to five (5) years in technical application design and development. Minimum two (2) to three (3) years in .NET technologies.
Undergraduate degree; concentration in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
