There are two positions available " Sr. Content Engineer and Sr. Web Developer.

The Sr. Web Developer will be responsible for architecting, developing, implementing, and working on a wide array of projects written mainly in JavaScript (AJAX based platform/web player) and some HTML. The majority of the role involves developing and maintaining Slackers proprietary web player, including build and maintenance of a large, scalable, web delivery system. The ideal developer will have broad knowledge of web development technologies and be well-versed in software development processes, including the end-to-end development of a full software life cycle and work, through the entire technology stack including; hosting infrastructure (web servers, OS, network etc.), programming / maintaining / debugging, as well as, general operation & support. Technologies - AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, and XML high proficiencies are highly desired.

The Sr. Content Engineer who will assume a lead role and be accountable for integrating Slackers content management system with external content data, ensuring the integrity of each. This includes data management, content delivery services, all while maintaining a high service level and optimal global website performance and user experience, from implementation to ongoing content management. The Sr. Content Engineer will work with the Web Services team to analyze, design, and develop Slackers content management system and components that contribute directly to the products and services of the company. This individual will work with various project/product leads and subsystem owners to clarify content designs, perform design validation, and perform a lead role interfacing internal content system to external content data. This will include shepherding changes through various phases of the software development lifecycle, with a heavy emphasis on design validation, integration and testing phases. He/she will play a lead role interfacing the external partners content into Slackers AJAX web player.
